28 Parks to celebrate Loy Krathong Festival

Bangkok Metropolitan Administration will hold Loy Krathong celebration in 28 public parks in Bangkok this 6 November 2014. Highlight parks are including Lumpini, Chatuchak, Santichaiprakarn and Benjakiti. The event will start from 15:00 to 24:00 hrs.

Apart from floating Krathong in the park, visitors can also enjoy the festival nationwide. Famous attractions and landmarks such as Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), Rama VIII Bridge, Asiatique the Riverfront and many more participate in the festival.

BMA encouraged people to float Krathong that made from natural materials such as banana trunk, bread and etc., BMA also stated that all fire crackers are forbidden to bring and sell in the park. However, visitors can still be able to find firework displays at several venues such as Rama VIII Bridge, along Chao Phraya River especially at Asiatique the Riverfront.
