Free entrance this Songkran Day at Ancient Siam

Starting early this year, Ancient Siam will start the celebration of Songkran Festival on 11 April until 15 April 2015. There will be numerous activities and cultural shows along the 5-day Songkran celebration with free entrance to all visitors during the festival.

Celebrate Songkran like locals did in the past this year at Ancient Siam, visitors can participate in the sprinkle water onto Buddha images and witness the procession of 28 Buddha images on the first day of the celebration.

With a theme of Songkran on 100-year road at Ancient Siam, this open-air museum prepares various events and Thai cultural shows from 4 regions of Thailand plus cultural traditional shows from Myanmar.

Apart from the shows, there will be local food shops selling food, snacks and drinks.

Offering free pass during a 5-day water festival, visitors will be saving up 350 THB to 700 THB (if you are a non-Thai visitors, the latter rate is applied) from the normal rate that the attraction charges for entering the venue.
