What’s on this week? (14-17 May)

This week there are many major events happening in Bangkok, especially for those who are looking for good deals on travelling packages. There are three tourism fairs coming up this weekend. Shoppers shouldn’t miss the grand sale from over 100 brands from Robinson department and OTOP fair featuring quality local products of Thailand.

1. Weekday Special Travel Fair 2015

Sponsored by the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Weekday Special Travel Fair (Wan Tammada Na Tiew Fair) is back again during 14 – 17 May 2015 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC). This travel fair aims to support domestic tourism in Thailand during weekday.

Visitors will find travel packages, accommodations, airlines, attractions and cruises offering special rates of 1,000 THB, 2,000 THB, 3,000 THB and 4,000 THB. There will be over 200 exhibitors featuring at this travel fair.

2. Thailand Golf Expo 2015

To be held alongside with Weekday Special Travel Fair, Thailand Golf Expo 2015 also starts from 14 – 17 May 2015 at the same venue – QSNCC. If you are looking for golf packages with accommodation, golf course or even golf equipment, you will be able to find them here.

There will be over 70 exhibitors from golf course resorts and hotels, driving range, golf school, famous golf products’ brands or even tour all-in-one tour packages for your family.

3. Thailand Dive Expo 2015

If you are looking for somewhere to start for your diving lessons, Thailand Dive Expo will be your place to go. Setting alongside with the Thailand Golf Expo and Weekday Special Travel Fair, this dive expo features over 60 exhibitors from diving school, diving equipment shops, diving association, diving tours or even other adventure sports equipment.

There are other activities such as photo contest, stage activities and free seminar sessions.

4. Robinson Shop Mun Sanan Muang

There is nothing much to explain for the shopping event, Robinson Shop Mun Sanan Muang will offer over 100 famous brands of clothes, bags, shoes and many more with special promotion and products roadshow of many popular brands. The event will be held at QSNCC during 14-17 May 2015.  

 5. OTOP Asian @Future Park Society

A bit far from the city centre, Future Park Society in Rangsit will play host of the OTOP Asian@Future Park Society during 15-24 May 2015. There will be quality Thai export products from every regions of Thailand featured in the show.

6. The Classic Car

Classic Car Expo

For those who love classic cars shouldn’t miss this event. The Classic Car (Wanwarn Bangkok the Classic Car) is to be held at Seacon Square during 15 – 24 May 2015.  There will be classic car of important people in Thai history such as Lincoln Continental Convertible used to belong to Gen. Sarit Thanarat and other classic cars.

At the show, you can enjoy retro themed shops selling Thai desserts, board games, Thai herbs and many more.
